Аннотация
В статье анализируются проблемы современной теории предпринимательства, с которыми сталкиваются специалисты в этой области в последние годы. Приведены аргументы в пользу определения предпринимательства как процесса «возникновения новой экономической деятельности». Исходным пунктом исследования столь сложного объекта выступает вопрос о механизмах обнаружения и использования имеющихся возможностей субъектами бизнеса. Автор указывает на необходимость комплексного переопределения предметного поля данной теории, что обеспечило бы ее устойчивое развитие через переориентацию на изучение социального, институционального и других видов предпринимательства. Автор прогнозирует активизацию исследований предпринимательства за пределами западных обществ, в так называемых переходных экономиках. Он описывает некоторые конституирующие черты, предопределяющие специфику предпринимательства на развивающихся рынках, и настаивает на необходимости изучения новых институтов и субъектов с применением всего теоретического аппарата рассматриваемого научного направления.В статье уточнена повестка исследований предпринимательства в России, отмечены причины их недостаточного развития и сформулированы необходимые условия преодоления такой ситуации. Автор обращает внимание на некоторые изменения в методологии и организации исследований, новые возможности для сбора и анализа эмпирических данных, появившиеся благодаря новейшим достижениям в области информационных технологий. В частности, дальнейшему расширению спроса на эти исследования будет способствовать развитие методов обработки «больших данных». Предсказывается повышение значения межстрановых сопоставительных и лонгитюдных проектов в составе больших коллективов, нацеленных на выработку практических рекомендаций для гражданского общества, национальных правительств и международных организаций.
