Аннотация
В статье оцениваются последствия расширения Европейского Союза (ЕС) для экономики старых и новых стран — членов альянса, в том числе для развития трансграничного партнерства. Представлены программы ЕС, нацеленные на интеграцию приграничных регионов. В фокусе исследования — развитие научной кооперации в регионах, прилегающих с обеих сторон к границе между Германией и Польшей. На примере факультета бизнес-администрирования и экономики недавно созданного Европейского университета Виадрина (European University Viadrina) оценивается масштаб сотрудничества германских и польских ученых с использованием статистики совместных научных публикаций. Установлено, что число таких работ достаточно велико; в основном они выполнены коллективами, аффилированными исключительно с самим университетом, однако значительная доля статей опубликована с участием польских специалистов, занятых в иных организациях, как в Польше, так и в Германии. В то же время авторы отмечают, что, помимо совместных публикаций, научное сотрудничество может осуществляться в иных формах, от неофициальных взаимодействий до институциализированных проектов, способных произвести значительный экономический эффект. Их изучение является предметом дальнейшей работы.
