Аннотация
Прямые иностранные инвестиции (ПИИ) и экономический рост оказывают двойственное воздействие на выбросы углерода (CO₂) — стимулируя развитие, они потенциально увеличивают экологическую нагрузку. Особую актуальность эта проблема приобретает в Южной Корее, взявшей обязательство достичь углеродной нейтральности к 2050 г. На базе анализа временных рядов за 1990—2021 гг. оценивались взаимосвязи между эмиссией CO₂ как зависимой переменной и ВВП, ПИИ, потреблением возобновляемой энергии — как объясняющими. Долгосрочные связи оценивались с помощью авторегрессионной модели с распределенным лагом (ARDL).
Эмпирический анализ подтвердил устойчивую связь между объемом ПИИ, темпами роста, применением возобновляемой энергии и эмиссией CO₂. Результаты демонстрируют необходимость устойчивых инвестиционных практик и возобновляемых источников для смягчения экологических последствий деловой активности. Впервые комплексно рассмотрено влияние ПИИ, ВВП и возобновляемой энергии на выбросы в контексте амбициозных планов по достижению углеродной нейтральности. Модель ARDL раскрывает взаимодействие экономических факторов и инициатив в области устойчивого развития, предоставляя политикам инструменты для балансирования хозяйственных и экологических приоритетов.
