Аннотация

Вторая часть опубликованной в предыдущем номере журнала статьи Бенуа Годэна «Что такое наука? Развитие статистического определения: 1920–2000» посвящена дискуссиям по поводу официальной трактовки определения науки и возможностей его расширения. В статье анализируются попытки разработать альтернативную концепцию и причины, по которым они оказались безрезультатными. Автор представляет первые подходы к статистическому измерению различных аспектов научной деятельности, не являющихся научными исследованиями в узком смысле слова, в том числе предложенные Национальным научным фондом США, но исключенные из международно-признанной методологии ОЭСР. В статье рассматриваются рекомендации ЮНЕСКО 1978 г. и их влияние на статистику. В заключение приводятся соображения по поводу расширения определения науки в связи с операционализацией понятия инновационной деятельности.
